{ 5:51 AM } 17 nov. Cornflakes with melamine for breakfast again and then 同仁堂. Tong Ren Tang is a Chinese pharmaceutical company founded in 1669, which is now the largest producer of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The company is headquartered in Beijing, and is engaged in both manufacture and retail sales, operating drug stores predominantly in Northeast China. In 1669, the 8th year of Emperor Kangxi’s reign of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), Tong Ren Tang was established in Beijing by Yue Xianyang who served as a senior physician of the royal court of the Qing Dynasty. In 1702, the company relocated within Beijing to the address from which it has operated ever since. In 1723, Tong Ren Tang was appointed the sole supplier of medicinal herbs/herbal medicines to the royal court of the Qing Dynasty by Emperor Yongzheng and remained in that position until the collapse of the Qing Dynasty in 1911. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tongrentang ![]() Got “lesson” in the early morning. Dude, I slept. ![]() Say the same few things lor, what digestion not good diet not good sleep not good. Lmao whatever, but then got scammed into buying medicine. 很好赚. Wangfujing (王府井) Beijing’s Orchard Road. Wángfǔjǐng street, located in the Dongcheng District of Beijing, is one of the Chinese capital's most famous shopping streets. Much of the road is off-limits to cars and other motor vehicles, and it is not rare to see the entire street full of people. Since the middle of the Ming Dynasty there have been commercial activities in this place. In the Qing Dynasty, eight aristocratic estates and princess residence were built here, soon after when a well full of sweet water was discovered, thereby giving the street its name "Wang Fu" (aristocratic residence), "Jing" (well). In 1903, Dong'an market was formed. It starts from Wangfujing Nankou, where the Oriental Plaza and the Beijing Hotel are located. It then heads north, passing the Wangfujing Xinhua Bookstore, the Beijing Department Store as well as the Beijing Foreign Languages Bookstore before ending at the Sun Dong An Plaza. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wangfujing ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() $44. Cherries made out of gold. ![]() Yuxiang Kitchen, my cousin’s kitchen lol. He didn’t follow us to Beijing though. All we did at wangfujing was walking around randomly (since it’s all genuine and expensive stuff) and buy a card for May 姐 to give her on the last day. Quan Ju De (全聚德) Beijing 烤鸭 for lunch!! Quanjude is a famous Chinese restaurant known for its trademark Quanjude Peking Roast Duck and its longstanding culinary heritage since its establishment in 1864 in Beijing, China . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quanjude ![]() ![]() It was super good lmao we finished everything. One of the best meals again, and by the end of it I felt totally bloated with oil.. I still miss Beijing 烤鸭!! 鸟巢, 水立方 Day view sucks. Didn’t go in, just snapped a few pictures outside. Anyway this is weird but I really like the name 水立方. :D 鸟巢 Beijing National Stadium is a stadium in Beijing, China. The stadium was designed for use throughout the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics. Located in the Olympic Green, the US$423 million stadium is the world's largest steel structure. The design was awarded to a submission from the Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron in April 2003, after a bidding process that included 13 final submissions. The design, which originated from the study of Chinese ceramics, implemented steel beams in order to hide supports for the retractable roof; giving the stadium the appearance of a "Bird's nest". Ironically, the retractable roof was later removed from the design after inspiring the stadium's most recognizable aspect. Ground was broken in December 2003 and the stadium officially opened in June 2008. A shopping mall and a hotel are planned to be constructed to increase use of the stadium, which will host football events after the Olympics. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beijing_National_Stadium ![]() ![]() Lol bimbo. ![]() Nice! 水立方 The Beijing National Aquatics Center is an aquatics center that was built alongside Beijing National Stadium in the Olympic Green for the swimming competitions of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Despite its nickname, the building is a cuboid (rectangular box), not a cube. Ground was broken on December 24, 2003, and the Center was completed and handed over for use on January 28, 2008. Swimmers at the Water Cube broke 25 world records during the 2008 Olympics. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beijing_National_Aquatics_Center ![]() ![]() Some Pearl Factory ![]() Well they tried to scam money again but failed. x] And then we went to watch a little show which performs stuff you see on the 天桥 in the olden days. Lol 天桥上的把式. Anyway it was really good, pretty horrifying, I think it’s the show which captured my attention the most during the trip. Although there’s no need for tickets – you give tips – and it’s just some small stage with 4 performers. ![]() ![]() ![]() Lol my dad trying to pull the bowl the guy sucked into his tummy. OOO: ![]() THE RIGHT ONE IS HORRIFYING. Dyou know there was already a wound on his neck then he still do. And after he completed the wound started bleeding again zomg. My own neck felt the pain. D: ![]() ![]() The old guy totally swallowed a metal ball the circumference of an adult’s palm and then spat it out from his stomache, stuck two swords into his mouth, and had two men pull all rope around his neck, and I almost fainted. ![]() ![]() And then we went for some Trishaw ride!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Pretty cool lol we went past the 九八街 or something which is kinda like Singapore’s Clarke Quay, one of my favourite places in Singapore. :D Dinner, ![]() Lol first time see air-conditioner in the lift. -.- Back at the hotel I started and completed WanTing’s (my roommate/cousin) book, “A Photogenic Life” so I turned in rather late. Thought it was not bad, full of meaning, and I’m gonna look out for more Low Kay Hwa books next time. ^^ |
about me.
She is unpredictable. If you can tolerate her random shits then you are a god. Her mood fluctuates more than anyone can ever imagine, and she knows how annoying it is but she can’t help it.
Her name is Yan4 Ying2. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly. It is not Yan4 Ying3 or Yan4 Ying1 or Yan2 Ying2. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She has other stupid random weird nicknames like WonderWoman, Small Meano, or Sicko. She turns 13 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol.
She was once from YewTeePrimary and she still loves that school to bits. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07 because of all the endless crazy things she has done back then. She is currently an idiot in NanyangGirlsHigh and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 102’08 which she loves dearly but at the same time is annoyed with.
She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves EmoBatch♥ for the amount of hugs they spam her with and how they make her feel so loved. She looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism and she also thinks that the club jacket rocks. :]
She can’t stand muggers and elitists. She curses and swears at egoistic people who pretend to be humble and “perfect” people who are always so full of themselves. Neither can she tolerate twits who type liiekk thizxzxzxz . She is shocked by the way their puny little brains are conned into believing that it looks kawaii. And when they twit so much til they pronounce the f-word as FAH.
She does ballet with more than just passion BUT she can’t do a split. She often gets irritated when her shockingly curved spine interferes with her posture and knowing that she could have done better. But she still tries her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6.
She plays basketball as a form of stress-relief BUT she can’t do a three-pointer. She knows it’s a very shameful thing for her to say but she doesn’t really care. She also loves baring her soul to the piano cause it can communicate with her the way no one else can.
She slacks on her computer everyday doing nothing but MSNing, blogging, or youtubing. She is also obsessed with counting calories but still spams herself with 2000 calories of chocolates at the end of the day. She loves shopping. She hearts doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours.
She thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs teenagers listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for ballads, sentimentals, and recently fell in love with oldies and country music. Songs that make her cry wins. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, Westlife and Backstreet Boys. She loves too many singers to name them all.
She doesn’t believe in Mr Rights and thinks that “forevers” are bullshit. Or at least at her age. She rolls her eyes at 13-year-olds who has got steads or are desperate for one. She is also amused by people who are convinced that she is attached because she knows that this isn’t a game.
She is a night angel and the night speaks to her. Her favourite flower is a black rose and she likes rainbows and hugs.
She hates people who underestimates or overestimates her. She is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. She knows her limits and snickering “you can’t do it” only makes her more persistent. She swears she is going to be a 女强人 when she grows up.
tagboard.
I don't like people who use five tags to type a sentence. Finish typing before pressing enter, thanks,
& I don't like spams. random.
